Macro Algae

Saltwater plants that do well in the typical reef tank system.  These are well suited for refugiums and sometimes the display tank.  Notes are included with each macroalgae identifying which are less palpatable to fish and snails. These are general guidelines so test with a small portion to determine if you have animals that will eat a particular macro (hermit crabs, snails and some fish are all potential threats)

Caulerpa

There are nine species of Caulerpa that are banned in California to protect the State's waterways and coastal waters from being overrun with non-native plants.  We only stock the varieties which are considered less invasive and therefore allowed.under the Fish and Game Regulations. San Diego has stricter guidelines which ban all forms of caulerpa so we can not ship any caulerpa to addresses within the San Diego City Limits.

Stock is in the farming systems now and more will be available soon.
